How The Wool Creations started...
We’re Anita and Viktoria, twin sisters and co-creators behind this whimsical shop. Our journey began in 2019, rooted in a deep love for handwork and storytelling through art.
Growing up in a Waldorf school in the New York State area, we were immersed in a creative environment that instilled a deep appreciation for the beauty of handmade craftsmanship. When we were 12 years old, we received a needle felting book as a Christmas gift. Although the concept was entirely new to us, the idea of transforming discarded wool into delicate, whimsical fairies immediately captured our imaginations—and we’ve been felting ever since.
Today, every piece you see in our shop is lovingly handcrafted by us using quality Merino and Corriedale wool sourced from U.S. sheep farms. Our products are unique because we not only use wool, but we also strive to incorporate elements from nature such as twigs, moss, and leaves.
Our hope is that our wool creations bring warmth, nostalgia, and joy to your home—celebrating the little moments and memories that matter most.

The Craft
The Wool
We work with high-quality wool of various textures, ranging from course to super-fine. The wool we use is carefully chosen for its beautiful colors, texture, and versatility. Each piece begins with these simple fibers, inspired by the beauty of the natural world.
The Process
Needle felting is a slow and careful process of shaping wool, one layer at a time. Using a special felting needle, we gently work the wool fibers together until they become firm, sculpted forms. With patience and precision, we add each tiny detail by hand, bringing our creations to life.
Every creation is made with intention, imagination, and a little bit of magic. Inspired by nature and our Waldorf upbringing, we hope our creations bring a sense of wonder, warmth, and connection to the natural world into your home.
