The Story Behind Creating Celeste, the Midnight Weaver

Deep within the heart of the woods, where the moss grows thick and the stars peek through the canopy like shimmering diamonds, lives Celeste. She is not merely a guardian of the forest; she is the Weaver of the Midnight Sky. While the world sleeps, Celeste gathers the softest shadows and the silver beams of the moon. She anchors the celestial light into her wool cloak, creating a wearable map of the constellations that sorround the crescent moon. Celeste carries a sturdy wooden staff, topped with a crystal that hums with the frequency of the stars. Beside her sits her faithful friend, a tiny barn owl named Pip, who helps her navigate the dense underbrush as they tend to the forest’s nocturnal secrets. The Inspiration Behind the Magic: Every creation in our studio has a story, and Celeste’s began on a quiet walk through the forest near our home at dusk. Not far into the trees, a low "whooing" sound drifted through the air. We looked up and to our surprise we saw two dark Barn owls perched high on a tall branch, their gazes fixed intently on us. That day, the sky was a soft, cloudy grey, and a silver crescent-moon was just beginning to emerge. In that moment, Celeste was born in my mind. We made Celeste to be a reminder of this special day, I saw her as the guardian of these very owls—a figure who tends to the stars and the moon while the rest of the world rests. When you bring Celeste into your home, you are inviting a piece of the midnight sky to stand watch, reminding you that even in the darkest hours, there is still magic to be woven!
